August 8, Wednesday, Fish-with-a-Friend – Hunting Run for Smallmouth Bass

Join our host,  Steve Moore, for an exciting day fishing for smallmouth bass on Wednesday, August 8th, at 8am on Spotswood Furnace Road(CR 620) at Hunting Creek parking area(off Eley’s Ford Road/route 3) in Locust Grove. It is a 0.7 mile walk to Rapidan River.

Bring:  Poppers, streamers, water, bug repellent, and a snack…

August 25, Saturday – Fish-with-a-Friend – Rappahannock River for Smallmouth Bass

Join Danny D & Fred K our host, for our Fish With a Friend outing on the Rappahannock River for SmallMouth Bass – and others as appropriate,  August 25th.  Plan to meet at 7:30 am at the end of Richards Ferry Road (Richardsville; then 10 minute walk) – you can probably wet-wade.

• Flies: Bring poppers, & streamers – also a lot of water!!

September 5, 2012 Regular monthly Chapter Meetings begin again at 7:30 PM

Just a reminder that we begin our regular monthly Chapter meetings again beginning on Sept 5th at 7:30 at the Sun Trust Bank in Warrenton.  Please come join us and get involved…see you all then!!  I’ll be Alaska salmon fishing, and Chuck Hoysa, our VP, will be leading the meeting.  Judson Walls will be making a presentation on Leaders and Tippets–Buying vs. Building
