April 6, 2016 Chapter Meeting

Hi–Lets meet at 7:30pm, Wednesday, April 6, at Sun Trust bank in Warrenton. Budget will be presented, and voted on. Speaker is Dusty Wissmath: ” Fly Fishing Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem”.  One opening for Mossy Creek guided FF event on Monday, May 16(Bring $90 to meeting for Doug, or mail him at check with May date).  Dinner at Faangs at 6:30pm.

April 2, 2016 Kid’s Heritage Day/Graves Lodge

Hi–Lets join John Long & Amy Orr/Hosts, other chapter volunteers, and the hundreds of kids wanting to fish at 9am Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Graves Lodge pavilion near the Rose River to help the kids have more fun. Hope to see you there!

March 26, 2016 FWF Rapidan River Cleanup/Picnic/Fishing

Hi–Lets meet at 9:30am, Saturday, March 26, at Criglersville Elementary school. Then, we  plan to proceed in 3 groups to pickup trash along road/river on mountain, starting at junction pool. Bring a trash bag, and your favorite beverages. Hamburgs, hot dogs, & snacks provided. Picnic area will be at kiosk area above first bridge on left .

March 16, 2016 FWF Rapidan River at Graves Mill

Hi–Lets meet John Long/host at 9am Wednesday, March 16 at the end of Graves Mill Road/662 parking area at the Rapidan River. From route 29, turn right on Wolftown-Hood Road/route 230 at Sheetz. At Wolftown, turn right on Graves MIll Road/662 and follow to end. Bring dries(ie Mr Rapidan, Elk Hair Caddis, Quill Gordon), nymphs(hares ear, pt, prince, etc), hip waders,  water, & snacks.
