Chapter Meetings:

Join us the first Wednesday of each month (except June, July & August) at 730 pm at the PATH Foundation Building, Fauquier Room “B” (2nd Floor) 321 Walker Drive, Warrenton,VA, 20186. Typical meetings include a speaker, a review previous months activities, and discuss upcoming events.┬áMeeting are typically over by 9pm; dinner 6 pm, location TBA in advance of meeting.



Hi- Lets meet FredK/host at 8am Friday, July 31 at Phelps WMA pond at 5667 Sumerduck Rd in Sumerduck(downstream of Kellys Ford) for largemouth bass fishing. Park at kiosk on grassy area, & 5 minute walk to pond. Bring bug spray!


July 15, 2020 FWF Hogue Tract/PHELPS WMA

Hi-Lets meet FredK at 4:30pm Wednesday, July 15 at Hogue Tract/Phelps WMA parking lot(~1mile upstream from Kellys Ford) on Sumerduck Rd near Remington for fishing smallies on Rappahannock River. Bring bug repellent, wet wading footwear, staff, poppers, wooly buggers, & clousers.

Do not attend if you have a temperature or are feeling ill.


July 9, 2020 FWF Float Trip

Hi-Lets meet host BillH at 8:00 Thursday, July 9 at Guest State Park(fee) canoe takeout area. People & watercraft will be carpooled to Bentonville landing for the ~4 hour float fishing back on SF Shenandoah River
to Guest State park . Bring your favorite water craft: canoe, kayak, etc. Vehicle staging available before float.

June 17, 2020 Chapter Picnic/Fishing

The annual chapter picnic fishing event is scheduled for 5pm-8:30 on Wednesday, June 17 at Soldiers Hill Angus Farm, 8459 March Wales Rd(off Opal Rd) in Warrenton, 20186. There will be signs, park on road shoulder, and walk down to picnic/pond area. Members are asked to bring their own food, snacks, beverages, & chairs. Chapter will provide fish!

Bring your own chairs for effective social distancing. If you are feeling ill or have a temperature, do not attend. If any Q or concerns, email FredK.

Chapter Events Canceled Until Further Notice

Hi- Chapter events have been canceled effective Wednesday, March 25 until Corona virus health advisories are lifted.

There are two “pay to fish” events scheduled for April. Mossy Creek(8 people limit) on Monday, April 13, and Cedar Creek(10 people limit) on Monday, April 20. These events are still scheduled. Attendance is strictly voluntary, do not attend if you are ill, and maintain social distancing during the event.
